We’re looking for a Team Leader who cares deeply about people, supports their growth, and creates an environment where the team can thrive and deliver their best work. The ideal candidate knows how to assign different types of tasks to match individual strengths, ensures that each team member has a clear role and contributes effectively, and supports the team’s development and performance.


What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Own communication with stakeholders and other teams, structure requirements, set priorities, and assure delivery commitments.
  • Manage the team effectively, understanding each member’s strengths and weaknesses, and assign tasks based on their abilities and development goals.
  • Own team capacity planning—tracking load, forecasting needs, and ensuring new hires, processes and tools are in place before capacity becomes a bottleneck.
  • Conduct regular 1:1 meetings, performance reviews, and implement measures to improve team performance as needed.

  • Proven experience leading engineering teams to deliver on ambitious timelines while maintaining code quality, balancing team morale with accountability, and communicating progress and risks transparently to stakeholders.
  • Proven experience leading engineering teams.

  • Strong communication - you listen deeply and act with empathy.
  • Experience facilitating performance reviews, feedback sessions, and professional development planning.
  • Experience conducting code reviews focused on maintaining quality and supporting engineers’ growth.
  • Proven experience participating in hiring and interviews to help build strong, well-balanced teams.
  • Understanding of Linux system.
  • Knowledge of algorithms and data structures.
  • Ability to design and oversee the architecture of software systems, ensuring scalability, maintainability, and performance.
  • Decent level of written and spoken English to work in an international environment.

Nice-to-have: 

  • In-depth knowledge and expertise in real-time development with sub-microsecond latency.
  • Experience in HFT, telecommunication, game development, or any other field that works with limited resources and optimization.
  • Solid understanding of modern C++ development and engineering processes.
  • Knowledge of networks and interaction protocols.
  • Proficient in using version control systems and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) tools.
