1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using RemoteAtlas ("the Service") at remoteatlas.app, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

2. What RemoteAtlas Provides

RemoteAtlas curates remote job listings sourced from company career pages, employer postings submitted directly to RemoteAtlas, and aggregated listings from across the web. We are not a party to any employment relationship between job seekers and employers.

While we make reasonable efforts to keep listings current and accurate, we do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or availability of any listing. Job openings may close at any time without notice.

3. User Accounts

You may create an account to save jobs, set up alerts, and manage applications. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately at aravind@remoteatlas.app if you suspect unauthorized access.

You must be at least 16 years old to create an account. Accounts must not be shared or transferred.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Scrape, crawl, or systematically extract data from the Service without permission
• Post false, misleading, or fraudulent job listings
• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any regulations
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service
• Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service
• Upload or transmit malicious code

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

5. Employer Listings & Sponsored Content

Employers may pay to feature or sponsor job listings on RemoteAtlas. Sponsored listings are clearly labeled. Payment for sponsored listings is subject to our current pricing, processed via Stripe. All fees are non-refundable unless otherwise stated.

6. Intellectual Property

All content on RemoteAtlas — including the site design, logo, original written content, and software — is owned by RemoteAtlas and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Job listing data is sourced from third-party career pages and belongs to the respective employers.

You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from our original content without express written permission.

7. Third-Party Links

The Service contains links to third-party websites, including employer career pages. We are not responsible for the content, policies, or practices of any third-party site. Visiting those sites is at your own risk.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, RemoteAtlas and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to loss of employment opportunities, loss of data, or reliance on job listings.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation before pursuing formal legal proceedings.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or a notice on the Service. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
