In This Role

In this role, you will create and manage change communications for a widely used suite of enterprise productivity and collaboration products. Your work will help millions of enterprise users understand new features, product updates, and changes that may affect their organizations.

You will partner closely with engineering and marketing program managers to develop new communications and revise existing content. The ideal candidate is a concise, detail-oriented writer who can translate technical information into timely, targeted, accurate, and actionable customer guidance while managing multiple communications simultaneously.

Responsibilities

  • Develop clear, concise, and actionable customer communications for new product features, updates, and service changes.
  • Manage change communications through an enterprise product-notification platform.
  • Partner with engineering and marketing program managers to gather requirements, clarify technical information, and confirm communication timelines.
  • Translate complex technical concepts and product changes into accessible, customer-friendly content.
  • Create new communications and update existing content as product details, release schedules, or customer impacts evolve.
  • Tailor communications to relevant customer audiences based on the nature and impact of each change.
  • Ensure all communications are timely, targeted, accurate, actionable, and aligned with established content standards.
  • Manage multiple small content projects concurrently, often with different stakeholders, priorities, and deadlines.
  • Coordinate reviews, incorporate stakeholder feedback, and drive content through approval and publication.
  • Maintain strong attention to detail across messaging, formatting, terminology, dates, and technical information.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with internal partners through email, collaboration tools, meetings, and voice calls.
  • Track communications and follow up with stakeholders to obtain the information and approvals required for timely publication.
  • Identify opportunities to improve the clarity, consistency, and effectiveness of change communications.

Required Qualifications

  • 2–4 years of experience in content creation, technical writing, content writing, change communications, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated ability to create clear, concise, and audience-appropriate written content.
  • Strong editing and proofreading skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Experience translating technical or complex information into accessible, actionable guidance.
  • Ability to manage multiple small projects, communications, or deliverables simultaneously.
  • Strong relationship-management skills and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional partners.
  • Ability to gather information, clarify requirements, and drive tasks to completion through stakeholder collaboration.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to communicate professionally with partners through email, virtual meetings, collaboration platforms, and voice calls.
  • Strong organizational, prioritization, and time-management skills.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment while maintaining consistent communication with the broader team.
  • Ability to incorporate feedback accurately and meet changing deadlines in a fast-moving environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience writing customer-facing communications for enterprise software, cloud services, productivity products, or other technical platforms.
  • Experience supporting product launches, feature releases, service updates, or organizational change initiatives.
  • Experience partnering directly with engineering, product management, program management, or marketing teams.
  • Familiarity with content-management systems, product-notification platforms, or structured publishing workflows.
  • Experience managing content through drafting, stakeholder review, approval, publication, and ongoing revision.
  • Ability to identify the customer impact of technical changes and convert that information into practical next steps.
  • Experience writing for large, global, or enterprise customer audiences.
  • Familiarity with enterprise productivity and collaboration technologies.
