About Pinterest:

Millions of people around the world come to our platform to find creative ideas, dream about new possibilities and plan for memories that will last a lifetime. At Pinterest, we’re on a mission to bring everyone the inspiration to create a life they love, and that starts with the people behind the product.

Discover a career where you ignite innovation for millions, transform passion into growth opportunities, celebrate each other’s unique experiences and embrace the flexibility to do your best work. Creating a career you love? It’s Possible.

At Pinterest, AI isn't just a feature, it's a powerful partner that augments our creativity and amplifies our impact, and we’re looking for candidates who are excited to be a part of that. To get a complete picture of your experience and abilities, we’ll explore your foundational skills and how you collaborate with AI.

Through our interview process, what matters most is that you can always explain your approach, showing us not just what you know, but how you think. You can read more about our AI interview philosophy and how we use AI in our recruiting process here.

Are you passionate about transforming financial and business operations through product, analytics, and AI? Join the IT Enterprise Systems team at Pinterest to help build the next generation of capabilities that power planning, forecasting, modeling, and decision support across the business.

What you’ll do:

  • You possess a mix of technical strength, business strength, and the ability to navigate stakeholders across different business areas and have experience building cross-functional relationships across engineering and business peers to ensure objectives are well defined and clearly understood.
  • You are able to navigate working at the strategic level (e.g. generating innovative ideas for growth, establishing KPI’s, leading through change management) and at the tactical level (e.g. analyzing data, solving problems, being a force multiplier)..
  • Define product strategy, roadmap, and execution for planning, forecasting, modeling, and analytics enablement capabilities.
  • You will engage the business to identify their needs and spot opportunities to build features that increase engagement and drive efficiencies.
  • Partner with Finance, Business Operations, Data Science, Analytics, IT, and Engineering to identify opportunities to improve workflows, decision quality, and operational efficiency.
  • Build and improve systems and experiences that support planning cycles, forecasting processes, business modeling, and analytical decision-making.
  • Help teams access better data, workflows, and analytical capabilities to support faster and more confident decisions.
  • Identify and deliver practical AI use cases that improve workflow speed, decision support, exception handling, insight generation, and team productivity.
  • Apply strong judgment to where AI should be used, ensuring appropriate validation, controls, and human accountability.
  • Identify and deliver practical AI use cases that improve scenario analysis, insight generation, summarization, exception detection, workflow productivity, and user experience.
  • Apply strong judgment to where AI should be used, ensuring outputs are validated and fit for business decisions.

What we’re looking for:

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Engineering or a related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Minimum of 12 years product management experience with minimum 3+ years in a product role in a global organization.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration and leadership skills, with the ability to navigate cross-cultural and cross-functional environments
  • Nimble to deliver for stakeholders: You know how to navigate hurdles and stay focused on great customer experience.
  • Significant product ownership or product management experience in financial planning  systems, analytics platforms, or adjacent internal products.
  • Strong understanding of financial planning, forecasting, business operations, modeling, or decision-support workflows.
  • Experience enabling analytics, data products, or systems that support planning and performance management.
  • Demonstrated hands-on use of AI in real business workflows, not just conceptual familiarity.
  • Strong judgment in validating AI outputs, managing risk, and maintaining accountability for final decisions and recommendations.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills across technical and non-technical teams.
  • Proven ability to move between strategic thinking and hands-on execution.
  • Ability to work through ambiguity, simplify complexity, and deliver measurable outcomes.
  • Strong understanding of Agile principles and iterative product development.
