Comprising over 150 digital professionals, this top-tier agency is a dominant force in the region, consistently recognized with prestigious industry accolades for its digital excellence. As part of a major global creative and technology network, they partner with prominent government entities, landmark destination brands, and massive enterprise organizations to engineer large-scale digital experiences that drive cultural and economic impact across the Middle East.

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) Developer to support a highly ambitious, large-scale digital experience program for a marquee Middle Eastern client. In this role, you will be the core technical driver behind developing, customizing, and maintaining enterprise-grade AEM websites, components, and templates. The ideal candidate will seamlessly integrate with cross-functional creative and technology teams to deliver high-performance website enhancements, troubleshoot complex environment challenges, and ensure the platform scales efficiently while operating in a fully remote setup aligned with Middle East business hours.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, customize, and maintain high-performance Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) solutions to power large-scale digital experiences.

  • Build, configure, and optimize custom AEM components, editable templates, modular workflows, and intuitive content structures.

  • Partner closely with UX/UI designers, content strategists, marketing leads, and technical teams to translate business requirements into website features.

  • Debug, isolate, and resolve technical issues across various AEM environments (development, staging, and production).

  • Support ongoing code deployments, environment configurations, and release management activities within the delivery lifecycle.

  • Ensure exceptional code quality, security, and performance while participating in proactive platform tuning and optimization initiatives.

  • Actively participate in technical design discussions, providing architectural recommendations and structured documentation for platform enhancements.

Qualifications and Job Requirements

  • 3–7+ years of dedicated professional experience developing and deploying enterprise solutions specifically within Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) Sites.

  • Proven hands-on experience building custom AEM components, custom workflows, and modern templates.

  • Strong core Java development skills combined with deep experience utilizing key AEM stack frameworks: Apache Sling, OSGi bundles, JCR (Java Content Repository), and HTL/Sightly.

  • Practical working knowledge of frontend web technologies, including HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript, to ensure smooth component rendering.

  • Experience operating successfully within fast-paced Agile/Scrum delivery environments.

  • Technical troubleshooting and debugging skills with complex, interconnected enterprise software systems.

  • Demonstrated ability to work independently in a remote environment while maintaining full availability to overlap with Middle East business hours (GMT+3 / GMT+4).

What We Offer

  • 100% Remote Work: Enjoy the freedom to work from the location that helps you thrive. All it takes is a laptop and a reliable internet connection.

  • Highly Competitive USD Pay: Earn an excellent, market-leading compensation in USD, that goes beyond typical market offerings.
