Senior Growth Manager, EU to Nigeria

LemFi

Remote — United KingdomFull-timePosted 2 days ago
Management

LemFi (Series B) is building the go-to financial app for the Global South.

Moving to a new country shouldn’t mean starting from zero. That's why our team of 400+ spanning 20+ countries is building a financial ecosystem that helps immigrants stay connected to home, build stability, and create wealth regardless of where they are from or where they live.

What began as fast, affordable remittances is now evolving into a complete platform for multi-currency accounts, payments, credit, and long-term financial growth.

With millions of users across the globe, we process over $1B in monthly transactions to 30+ countries, proving that borders shouldn't limit financial opportunity.

About the role

LemFi is the financial engine for people the world wasn't built to serve — and nowhere is that more true than for the Nigerian diaspora across Europe. We're hiring a Senior Growth Manager to own that corridor: driving user acquisition, building community networks, and acting as the on-the-ground voice of our users across Italy, Spain, Germany, and Ireland.

This is not a desk job. You'll be embedded in the communities we serve — attending events, forging partnerships, and feeding raw market intelligence back into Product and Marketing. You'll work closely with Growth, Marketing, and Operations teams, travel 3–5 days every two to three weeks to a new European city, and be directly accountable for growth targets in your markets. If you want autonomy, a real ownership mandate, and the chance to shape how LemFi scales across a continent — this is it.

What you'll build & own

  • Own acquisition targets for the Nigeria–Europe corridor — online and offline — and be accountable for hitting them

  • Travel across Europe to represent LemFi at Nigerian community events, expos, and forums; build and expand our community network with local leaders, organisations, and grassroots partners

  • Develop and execute market-specific user acquisition strategies, using data and AI-assisted tools to optimise campaigns and improve KPI performance

  • Identify, negotiate, and manage partnerships with relevant organisations and businesses that deliver measurable growth outcomes

  • Conduct ongoing market research — including community listening — and translate it into sharp, actionable insights for Product and Marketing

  • Serve as the internal voice of the user: bring community perspectives into roadmap, messaging, and positioning decisions

  • Act as a brand ambassador for LemFi, communicating our mission clearly and persuasively across every channel and touchpoint

Your experience

  • Proven track record in growth, sales, or marketing in a fast-paced, target-driven environment — ideally at a fintech, consumer tech, or high-growth startup

  • Deep cultural fluency with Nigerian diaspora communities in Europe — you understand their financial needs, trust signals, and communication styles

  • Demonstrable ability to hit and exceed acquisition or sales targets with clear data to back it up

  • Strong analytical skills — you can pull and interpret performance data, identify what's working, and adjust fast

  • Excellent relationship-builder — you can walk into a room of community leaders, earn their trust, and leave with a partnership

  • Self-directed and effective in a remote, field-based environment with minimal hand-holding

  • Comfortable with significant travel across Europe, including occasional weekends

Nice to have

  • Experience in remittances, cross-border payments, or diaspora-focused financial products

  • Existing network within Nigerian communities across one or more of our key European markets

  • Proficiency in a second European language (Italian, Spanish, or German)

Why Join LemFi?

At LemFi, you won’t be just a cog in a machine. Whether designing products, scaling operations, or telling our story, you’ll tackle complex challenges with real, immediate impact. Your work goes beyond metrics - it puts money back in families’ pockets and offers access to the previously excluded. Join us to make a meaningful difference, where high performance is a lifeline for millions.
