About the role

Join Vonage and help us innovate cloud communications for businesses worldwide!

Sales Director – EMEA (Contact Centre & Unified Communications)

Location: United Kingdom (remote / hybrid) | Reporting to: VP of International Sales

Why this role matters:

Vonage is seeking a commercially driven Sales Director to join our EMEA team, based in the UK. Leading a team of new business Account Executives within our Unified Communications and Contact Centre division, you will be accountable for driving net new revenue across EMEA — with a major focus on the UK market.

This is a high-impact leadership role for someone who thrives in a hunter environment. You understand how to inspire, motivate and develop a team of talented, experienced sales professionals — and you know what it takes to win in complex, multi-stakeholder, mid-market and enterprise deals.

Your key responsibilities:

  • Drive team performance — monitor activity and pipeline health to ensure consistent attainment of revenue and new business targets across the team.
  • Build and execute strategy — develop customer-focused sales plans, establish key priorities and oversee execution to deliver against quarterly and annual goals.
  • Engage at the executive level — build and maintain consultative relationships with senior decision makers; present confidently to C-suite stakeholders on behalf of both your team and Vonage.
  • Support new business wins — actively participate in video and in-person client meetings to help Account Executives close new logo opportunities.
  • Forecast with precision — conduct ongoing opportunity analysis and deliver accurate, data-driven forecasts to senior leadership.
  • Develop your team — champion individual growth, identify skills gaps, and ensure execution of any required improvement plans.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally — advise and partner with internal teams including marketing, product, channel, alliances, solution engineering and operations to align on customer needs and remove blockers.
  • Partner with marketing — co-own programmes, events and campaigns designed to support local revenue goals and strengthen Vonage's brand presence in-market.

What you'll bring:

  • Proven experience leading and managing high-performing field sales teams in a new business environment.
  • A strong track record of selling to Mid-Market and Enterprise customers, ideally within complex, multi-product solution environments.
  • Experience selling contact centre and/or unified communications solutions is highly advantageous.
  • A solid understanding of Vonage's portfolio of products and services.
  • Advanced proficiency across the full sales cycle — from prospecting and discovery through to presentation, demonstration and close.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce and other CRM platforms.
  • Exceptional communication skills — written, verbal and listening — with the ability to tailor your approach to any audience, from frontline operators to board-level executives.
  • The ability to:
    • Consult with business leaders on field sales strategy, operational challenges and market trends.
    • Ensure mutual understanding between Vonage and prospects or partners on product benefits, objectives and commercial arrangements.
    • Articulate Vonage's competitive positioning clearly and translate it into actionable recommendations for the team.
    • Integrate market data, trends and pipeline insight into meaningful forecasts, models and strategic plans.

Why Vonage?

We value diverse voices and believe our best work happens when people feel empowered, included and energised. We offer a competitive compensation package, a collaborative culture, and the opportunity to make a real impact as part of a global technology leader.

Vonage is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
