You will have genuine ownership, strong support, and the opportunity to take high-value AI workflows from prototype to dependable production systems.

Your Role

As an AI Engineer (Agents), you will build and operate RoomPriceGenie’s production AI agents: systems that can reason over trusted context, use approved tools, and complete supervised workflows safely.

You will work on flagship workflows such as call coaching, reporting, ticket classification, and revenue operations. Your job is not to build demos. You will turn promising AI use cases into reliable systems with clear autonomy boundaries, human escalation, robust integrations, and measurable quality.

You will join our AI & Security team and help establish the engineering standard for agentic systems across the company: evaluation-first development, observability, guardrails, cost control, and continuous improvement.

What You’ll Do

• Design, build, deploy, and operate production AI agents and supervised workflows from initial problem framing through ongoing iteration.

• Integrate models and agent workflows with APIs, databases, internal systems, and approved tools; build resilient tool use, state, and error handling.

• Create evaluation harnesses and test datasets to measure task success, accuracy, groundedness, safety, latency, cost, and exception rate before and after release.

• Implement LLMOps foundations: tracing, prompt and configuration versioning, monitoring, alerting, model routing, cost caps, and rollback/kill-switch mechanisms.

• Define autonomy gates, human-in-the-loop review, escalation paths, and operational runbooks with domain owners, Security, and Architecture.

• Improve agents through production feedback, failure analysis, and disciplined iteration rather than one-off prompt changes.

• Build reusable agent components and patterns so teams can ship safely on a shared paved road.

• Stay hands-on in code, system design, debugging, and technical decision-making.

Your Profile

• Strong experience building and operating production software systems, ideally with complex integrations, workflows, or distributed services.

• Excellent engineering fundamentals, ideally in Python and/or TypeScript, APIs, asynchronous workflows, cloud infrastructure, and databases.

• Hands-on experience building LLM applications, AI agents, tool-calling workflows, or intelligent automation systems.

• Practical experience with LLMOps: evaluation, observability/tracing, prompt or configuration versioning, performance/cost optimization, and incident response.

• Strong understanding of reliability, security, authentication/authorization, data boundaries, and failure handling in systems that can take actions.

• Experience with AWS, Databricks, Snowflake, workflow orchestration, containerization, and/or modern AI frameworks is a strong plus.

• Product-minded and comfortable translating an operational problem into a measurable, safe, and maintainable system.

• You value evidence over hype: agents should be monitored, evaluated, reversible, and useful to the people who rely on them.

• Fluent in English and based in the European time zone (UTC+0 to UTC+2).
