Their collaborative culture values curiosity, creativity, continuous learning, and technical excellence while building scalable platforms that power data products used across the organization.

Job Summary

We are looking for a DevOps Lead to help design, build, and operate the cloud infrastructure that powers the company's data and software platforms.

This role is centered around Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Infrastructure as Code with Terraform, Kubernetes, and modern CI/CD practices using GitHub Actions and Jenkins. You'll also help maintain and modernize hybrid infrastructure that includes legacy Windows Server, Oracle, and AWS environments while supporting the evolution toward a cloud-native platform.

Working closely with Data Engineering, Software Engineering, and external infrastructure partners, you'll drive reliability, security, automation, and operational excellence across development, staging, and production environments.

Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and maintain cloud infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform using Terraform and Infrastructure as Code best practices.

  • Manage Kubernetes (GKE) environments, ensuring scalability, reliability, and efficient resource utilization.

  • Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and Jenkins to enable reliable software delivery.

  • Monitor infrastructure health through observability, logging, alerting, and incident response improvements.

  • Collaborate with Data Engineering teams to support analytics platforms and data pipelines built on Snowflake, dbt, Dagster, and BigQuery.

  • Maintain and modernize hybrid infrastructure, including Windows Server, Oracle, SQL Server, and legacy AWS environments.

  • Improve identity and access management by implementing modern authentication solutions such as Workload Identity and OIDC.

  • Detect and resolve infrastructure drift while ensuring environments remain secure, reproducible, and cost-efficient.

  • Partner with internal engineering teams and external infrastructure providers to continuously improve platform reliability and cloud standards.

  • Mentor engineers and promote DevOps best practices, automation, and operational excellence across the organization.

Qualifications and Job Requirements

  • 6+ years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Infrastructure, Site Reliability Engineering, or Platform Engineering.

  • Strong hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) (AWS or Azure experience is also valued if willing to ramp up on GCP).

  • Advanced experience with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code, including state management and drift detection.

  • Production experience managing Kubernetes environments (GKE preferred).

  • Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or similar tools.

  • Strong understanding of cloud networking, IAM, security, and infrastructure automation.

  • Experience supporting hybrid environments combining modern cloud infrastructure with legacy Windows and database platforms.

  • Familiarity with data platforms such as Snowflake, dbt, Dagster, or BigQuery.

  • Scripting experience with Python or Bash.

  • Strong troubleshooting, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.

  • Advanced English communication skills.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with Oracle, SQL Server, or Windows Server administration.

  • Experience with Auth0, OIDC, or modern identity management solutions.

  • Knowledge of FinOps or cloud cost optimization practices.

  • Experience supporting large-scale analytics or data platform infrastructure.

  • Previous experience mentoring engineers or leading DevOps initiatives.

What We Offer

  • 100% Remote Work: Enjoy the freedom to work from the location that helps you thrive. All it takes is a laptop and a reliable internet connection.

  • Highly Competitive USD Pay: Earn an excellent, market-leading compensation in USD, that goes beyond typical market offerings.
