We’re filling this role for a client advancing the future of personalized health through clinical-grade microbiome testing—helping individuals and practitioners uncover root causes and take a more proactive, data-driven approach to gut and vaginal health.

Founded by scientists and physicians, the platform uses clinical-grade testing and genomic technology to deliver personalized, actionable insights for both consumers and practitioners—making preventive, data-driven care more accessible.

The Opportunity

We’re looking for a high-energy, highly organized, and growth-minded Partnerships leader to help scale the company’s B2B partnerships engine.

This role will work closely with the CEO to generate and qualify leads, support and run deal cycles, close new partnership revenue, and build scalable systems across the partnerships function.

Prior experience in microbiome science isn’t required, but curiosity and comfort operating in a science-forward, data-driven environment is important.

What You’ll Do

Pipeline Generation & Lead Development

  • Identify, research, and build outbound lead lists while managing inbound leads

  • Ensure fast follow-up, strong qualification, and clean CRM hygiene

  • Maintain a consistent flow of new partnership opportunities

Deal Support & Closing

  • Support and run partner conversations from intro to close (discovery, qualification, pitch, follow-ups, negotiation)

  • Create polished, data-driven partnership decks and deliver confident presentations

  • Build and maintain Google Sheets–based trackers, reports, and analyses for pipeline management and forecasting

  • Clearly communicate the company’s value proposition across different partner types

Partnership Strategy & Operational Excellence

  • Help develop a repeatable partnerships playbook across multiple partner segments

  • Maintain accurate tracking of deals (stages, close dates, next steps, notes, forecasts)

  • Build lightweight processes and templates to scale the partnerships function

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner with Operations, Marketing, and Science teams to ensure smooth post-close handoffs

  • Share partner feedback internally and advocate for improvements that drive conversion and retention

What Success Looks Like

  • Consistently generating qualified partner meetings on a weekly basis

  • Expanding pipeline coverage and improving conversion rates across stages

  • Shortening deal cycles through strong follow-up, structure, and coordination

Preferred Qualifications

  • 3–5+ years of experience in partnerships, business development, consulting, sales, or strategic growth roles

  • Proven ability to source leads, run outbound efforts, and drive deals forward

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including presenting to external partners

  • Highly organized with strong follow-through; able to manage multiple deals simultaneously

  • Comfortable operating in ambiguity and moving quickly in a startup environment

Key Competencies

  • High EQ relationship builder with strong partner instincts

  • Strong project manager with excellent follow-up habits

  • Revenue-minded with a clear understanding of pipeline, conversion, and closing mechanics

  • Resourceful, proactive, and scrappy

  • Clear and effective communicator internally and externally

  • Process-oriented; enjoys building structure and scalable systems

Nice to Have

  • Experience in healthtech, healthcare, diagnostics, biotech, or wellness

  • Familiarity with performance reporting and dashboards

  • Experience building outbound sequences and sales enablement materials

  • Startup experience or comfort wearing multiple hats

  • Proficiency with CRM tools (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce) and productivity tools (Google Suite, Notion, Slack, etc.)
