WA Technology

Management

Who are we?

WA.Technology is a B2B supplier of iGaming solutions with a rapidly growing number of clients and partnerships in emerging markets. We offer a state-of-the-art iGaming platform, turnkey solutions, and standalone products that allow operators to enter or expand into emerging markets quickly and easily.

WA Platform is a fully scalable and customizable solution, featuring over 75+ game providers, 15.000+ games, and multi-currency support with 80+ payment methods. WA Technology enables operators to build their own Casino, Sportsbook, Lottery and Fantasy business precisely how they envision it. We have offices across Europe and Latin America, supporting our clients with on-the-ground presence and regional expertise.

Where and how we work?

We currently have teams based in our Malta, Sofia (BG), London (UK) and Bucharest (RO) offices. As a consultant you will work remotely, and travel to our office location at least once each during the 4-5 months to work face-to-face with local teams.

The Challenge

We’re looking for an AI Leader to join us on a four to five months contract and help drive the safe, practical, and effective adoption of AI across the company. Acting as our internal AI champion, you’ll work with teams and individuals to turn curiosity into confident, everyday AI usage.

You’ll help shape our AI adoption strategy by building internal AI champions, developing usage guidelines, delivering training, and supporting teams in exploring and implementing AI-powered solutions. This role offers the opportunity to make a real impact on how we work, helping teams unlock the value of AI while ensuring responsible and secure adoption.

How you'll make an impact

  1. Champion safe, practical AI adoption across the company, acting as the go-to internal voice on how and where AI should be used.

  2. Partner with teams and individual contributors to implement change - helping people move from curiosity to confident, everyday AI usage.

  3. Identify and build a team of AI “star performers” - the individuals already getting outsized value from AI - and turn them into an internal network of champions

  4. Draft and own company-wide AI usage guidelines, balancing safety, data protection, and IP concerns against speed of adoption.

  5. Work alongside teams on the build of internal AI tools, contributing use cases, requirements, and hands-on testing.

  6. Design and deliver internal training that lifts AI fluency across departments, from beginners to power users.

You will bring:

  • Proven ability to quickly understand a new environment, assess existing ways of working, and deliver measurable results within a five-month contract.

  • Hands-on experience using AI/LLM tools (such as Claude, Codex, Copilot, or similar) in software development, with experience driving adoption across teams, not just personal use.

  • Strong technical understanding of APIs, prompt engineering, AI capabilities and limitations, and how AI fits into the software development lifecycle.

  • Experience creating AI usage policies or governance guidelines covering data privacy, confidentiality, acceptable use, and IP protection.

  • Good understanding of enterprise AI risks, including data security, hallucinations, model bias, and third-party AI tools.

  • Experience designing and delivering AI training or enablement programs for a range of audiences.

  • Proven success leading change and driving adoption of new tools or processes across distributed teams.

  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain technical AI concepts to non-technical audiences.

  • Able to influence and build trust with stakeholders without direct authority.

  • Passionate about helping others improve the way they work through AI.

  • Sound judgment, balancing innovation with responsible and practical AI use.

  • Comfortable working independently in a remote-first, international environment.

  • Willing and able to travel to our offices in Bucharest (Romania), Sofia (Bulgaria), and Malta.

Why Work With Us?

  • Opportunity to make a measurable impact and implement change

  • A leadership approach that fosters innovation, creativity, and trust.

  • Opportunity to experience the buzz of highly driven and motivated work colleagues.

  • Experience a start-up feel in a fast-paced growth-driven environment.
