Position Summary
This role is part of a critical team that tests the indoor air quality of residential and commercial buildings. It is responsible for installing radon testing devices and communicating with facility owners/ coordinators to ensure proper installation and successful testing.
Essential Functions
- Ensuring proper installation of testing devices
- Travel locally and nationally
- Proper completion of necessary paperwork
- Meet project deadlines to ensure customer satisfaction
- Consistent and constant communication with project team members
- Onsite decision making to ensure a successful consultation
- Other duties as assigned
Required Skills/Abilities
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work within and meet established deadlines
- Punctual
- Highly organized and attention to detail
- Skilled in use of Microsoft Office Suite
- Must be familiar with basic shipping standards to mail necessary equipment to remote locations
- Must have a valid driver’s license and clean driving history
Physical Demands and Work Environment
- This job operates primarily in a field environment and routinely requires walking, climbing stairs and lifting of equipment.
- This job also uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, etc.
- Must be able to regularly lift 25 pounds
Travel Required
- Up to 100% travel M-F, depending on the weekly schedule. Travel can be local in a vehicle or plane.
Education and Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required
- NRPP certification for radon measurement, or ability to obtain this certification within established timeline upon hire.
- Minimum 2 years customer service experience, preferably in a field environment
- Self-starter with a proven track record of working independently
