ABOUT US:

Brisk Teaching is the leading AI platform for K-12 educators, empowering teachers to deliver personalized, curriculum-aligned instruction at scale. Our Classroom Intelligence tools connect teachers, students, and curriculum—making meaningful learning happen in classrooms every day. We believe the best technology is cutting-edge, respects teachers’ time, integrates into real classrooms, and helps educators focus on what matters most.

Since launching, Brisk has experienced rapid growth. Over 2 million teachers use our platform, and we partner with districts and schools nationwide to transform how educators teach and how students learn.

We're backed by leading venture and edtech investors including Bessemer Venture Partners (Shopify, LinkedIn, Anthropic, Perplexity) and Owl Ventures (Newsela, Quizlet, MasterClass), with a team spanning top AI companies and real classroom experience.

We're a fast-moving, collaborative team driven by a shared commitment to educator impact and product excellence. Our values—urgency, ownership, and focus—shape how we build and who we are.

THE OPPORTUNITY:

Teachers found Brisk on their own — two million of them. Our next chapter is the district partnership: superintendents, curriculum leaders, and technology officers choosing Brisk for every school they serve. That's where you come in.

Field marketing for district leaders is a different craft than field marketing for consumers, and we think it's a more interesting one. The rooms are smaller and the stakes are higher. Nobody posts a superintendent roundtable on Instagram — but get the right twelve people around the right table with the right conversation, and you can watch a partnership start in real time. We're looking for a Field Marketing Manager who finds that problem exciting: a creative operator who can design an experience a district leader remembers for months, and then personally make sure the room is set, the run-of-show holds, and every conversation makes it back into the CRM.

This is a builder role — strategy and execution both. We're deliberately shifting our field investment toward the events and experiences where district decisions happen: executive convenings, regional leadership conferences, and the state events where our sales team builds relationships. You'll help decide where that investment goes and own the experiences end-to-end, reporting to the Sr. Manager, B2B Marketing and working alongside a peer field marketing manager, hand-in-glove with our sales team, with room to invent formats we haven't tried yet.

YOU WILL:

  • OWN THE EVENTS

    • Co-build the field and events strategy with the Sr. Manager, B2B Marketing — bring a point of view on which events, audiences, and formats deserve investment, and back it with results.

    • Run our presence at executive convenings and regional leadership conferences (think AASA-style regional events and superintendent programs) — from concept and venue through run-of-show, staffing, on-site execution, and load-out.

    • Design and produce our own moments for district leaders: executive dinners, roundtables, and intimate convenings that earn a superintendent's afternoon.

    • Build repeatable playbooks so a great executive event becomes a program, not a one-off.

  • BE SALES' FAVORITE PERSON

    • Partner directly with account executives on the state and regional events where deals start — sponsorships, speaker placements, booth presence, and the follow-through that turns a conversation into a meeting.

    • Make small events punch above their weight: a $2K regional summit done right can outperform a $200K trade show, and we want someone who relishes proving it.

    • Own lead capture and handoff at every event — set up right, uploaded fast, routed to owners, follow-up visible. What we capture and what happens next matters as much as the event itself.

  • BRING CREATIVE THAT FITS THE AUDIENCE

    • Invent surprise-and-delight moments for district leaders — experiences and gestures personal enough that they couldn't have been made for anyone else. Our bar: celebrate the leader's work, don't pitch ours.

    • Put educator champions and customer voices on stages — help our community open doors by speaking at the district and regional events we can't be everywhere for.

    • Evolve what we've already built. Our conference presence has a reputation for creativity; your job is to translate that same imagination for the decision-maker audience.

  • MEASURE LIKE IT'S YOUR PIPELINE (BECAUSE IT IS)

    • Define success before every event — meetings created, pipeline influenced, deals accelerated — and report on it with rigor afterward.

    • Work with demand generation to connect field activity to district pipeline, and push for continuous improvement event over event.

YOU HAVE:

  • 4+ years in field marketing, events, or executive programs at a high-growth company — you've owned events end-to-end, not just supported them.

  • Experience producing experiences for senior audiences — executive briefings, customer advisory boards, leadership summits, or the equivalent — where the guests were decision-makers and the details carried the day.

  • A creative track record you can show: an event, activation, or experience people talked about long after — and the operational receipts behind it.

  • A genuine partnership orientation toward sales; you measure your work by what it does for their pipeline.

  • Comfort in the numbers: CRM fluency, lead operations, and post-event attribution. HubSpot experience is a plus.

  • Energy and composure on-site; things go sideways and you handle it.

  • Willingness to travel (~25–35%, heaviest in fall and spring conference seasons).

BONUS:

  • K-12 or edtech experience — you know what an RFP season feels like and why a superintendent's calendar is sacred.

  • Experience standing up an executive event program from scratch.
